I've scanned for channels, and got all channels mapped to tuner 0 of my 8 channel TV card (eg: 2 cards of 4 channels each)
Is there a way to copy that selection on tuner 0, to all of the other 7 tuners, or do I have to map each tuner seperatly ?
Many thanks

I note that you are using MP2. The following applies to MP1, but I think that MP2 is identical in this situation.

"TV Server Config" has a "TV Mapping" panel in the "TV Channels" section. On the "TV Mapping" tab:
    • The left column lists the channels that have not yet been mapped to the TV tuner identified by the drop-down menu just above the two columns.
    • The right column lists the channels that have already been mapped to that TV tuner.
    • The >> and << buttons allow you to move channels between the two columns.

You can either select individual channels to move between the two columns, or perform a standard Windows multi-select to move a group of channels between the two columns. The screen shot above shows a multi-select for all of the channels remaining in the left column.

The reasons for not using mapping are:
    • By repeating the scan for each tuner in turn, you can confirm that all of the tuners are working, and that all of the aerial connections are good (i.e. no bad connections between the aerial cable, the aerial plugs, and the aerial sockets).
    • If you have tuners of different capability, it may not be obvious which tuners can receive which channels. I am in this situation, as on my production HTPC I have a TBS 6284 DVB-T2 quad-tuner card, and a Pinnacle 2000i DVB-T dual-tuner card. The Pinnacle tuners cannot receive the HD channels, but there are several SD channels that are broadcast in the DVB-T2 MUX. It can be quite laborious to find out which SD channels these are, so it is simpler to scan each tuner in turn.
