Hi - Obviously I am a bit of a newbie to MP and MCE RP but I can't find what I am doing wrong or even if it is a MCE RP issue, please help.

When I try to use any type of scheduled recording it records but doesn't change the channel on the STB. I am using the MCE Blaster that comes with the MCE remote/keyboard, it works great for manual channel changes etc.

MCE RP 1.0.3.1
MP 0.2.2.0

Has anyone had this issue before or have some suggestions?

Thanks.

Does it change in the TV Guide?

Have you gone into plugin setup and configured the "External Channels" area?

Yes, it changes in the TV Guide.

And I have configured the "External Channels" section with my Foxtel STB details, Card 1 is my PVR 150MCE.

    Thanks.

Are you using one of the SVN's or regular plain old 0.2.2?

I had the same issue, I had to update to a newer SVN and use Aaron's latest test version to get it to work. Apparently a bug in MP itself...

elconejito - You were right, changing to SVN fixed this issue.

Thanks for your help and-81 and elconejito.

Love finding solutions in the forums, this has been bugging me like nothing else. I actually stopped recording programs from the STB. Will try the SVN to see how it goes. Silly question, but is there as "stable" SVN that can be used or do you have to use the latest and hope it all works ?

    Hey,

No there is no "stable" SVN. But I find recent SVNs to be very stable for me.

There has been a lot of work done by the development team to iron out bugs in SVN, as is evidenced by the changelog. So I recommend that every use a recent SVN. If you find a bug in it, report it and it should get fixed.

    Cheers,
