On occasion (I'd say 1/3 of the time) TV programs that have been scheduled to record don't. I follow that procedure in each case. Why is this? Most importantly, what can I do to stop this from happening?

I've attached the most recent log that I pulled just before this posting.

    Hi again STEVENJ

Do you actually need the DVB EPG grabber to be enabled? If not disable it - it is causing problems. In this case I think the EPG grabber is trying to grab EPG at the same time as the recording is scheduled to start. Both processes initialise the tuner and this could easily confuse the tuner.

Thanks again for the fast reply.:D Unless it's needed for SchedulesDirect, I don't need to be using the DVB EPG grabber. I've unchecked the boxes next to each station listed in the grabber. Does this disable it or is there something else I need to do?

    Hi again

No you don't need it for SD and yes those two ticks are all you need to do to turn it off. :)
Let me know if you continue to have problems...

After successfully working on Sunday night the timer recording of scheduled TV shows failed on Monday evening. I did nothing different and am mystified as to why this happened. The most recent log is attached.

The timer recording succeeded last night (Wednesday, October 19). I did nothing different. I've attached the log file in case comparison with the log file produced after the unsuccessful attempt can shed light on the cause.

    Hi again

I've looked at the first set of logs and I can identify roughly where the problem is in the code. I just haven't had time to throw together a debug DLL/EXE so that we can identify the exact cause. Hopefully I'll have time on the weekend - 3 day weekend (!!! :D).
