Hi all,
I have a big problem with scheduled tv recordings with lastests SVN build (about from build of 23 June 2006). I schedule a recording then suspend pc; when it's time to recording the pc wake up at the correct time but doesn't starts to record. In the log files (mediaportal.log, error.log, recorder.log) there is nothing about the recording (errors, info, etc).

If I go into Programming screen, I can see my scheduled recording in "Waiting" state after the recording start time, too........

I have made a lot of tests and now I come back to SVN of 23 June 2006.

:( :(

There is someone with my problem??

Thanks a lot in advance,
Dado

    No support template..
No changes to the logic after this date either.

We're just aware of a special condition with only one card which occasionally affects some people.

Are the non-starting records on channels both card can receive?
Are the channels assigned correctly to each card?
Do you have any interesting log files?

If I start the recording manually it's work. Channel is Composite on Hauppauge (priority=2, Pinnacle for dvb-t has priority=1). I have tried with PVRScheduler 1.4.5 (lastest of yesterday) and with PowerScheduler.

In the log there is nothing about the recording (there is only rows with "Recordings changed. Update PVR Scheduler." or "Recordings changed. Update PVR Scheduler." after last dialog of advanced schedule). I have tried also with quick record...

The lastest working svn release is: 23 june 2006. All versions after this doesn't work...

Channels are correctly assigned (also I have tried to delete and re-add tuners and channels).

In the database all seems to be correct (TVDatabase contains new recording schedule!).

...seems that timers are inactive (??!?)... (impossible, I think) but at the recording time nothing are write to the log!

    HELP!

I don't wanna loss your great lastest changes to the My TV module !!

Please tell me if you want to know more things.

    Oh, didn't know it was PVR-Scheduler :?

STSC isn't member of the mediaportal-team and we do not have his source code - therefore he needs to fix this..

    Is the same

    Hi,
the problem is the same with PowerScheduler of MP.
I have this problem also without PVRScheduler and Powerscheduler (both disabled into Configurator): if I schedule a record in MP without suspend the PC, at the recording time MP doesn't start the recording and schedule remains on "Waiting" state !!

Yesterday I have downloaded new 2.0.0 version and I have reinstalled it (fresh installation without non-MP plugins and withm basic skin) and the problem persists !!

If you hit "record now" while watching a show does it record then?

If you stop this record after 1 minutes are you able to play this record?

This might be a stupid question, but have you checked that your computer clock is right? To me, it sounds like MP doesn't record because it thinks it's not time yet - that would explain why it still says "waiting" when it should be recording.

I'm according with you: it's not the time... it seems that MP can't check system time with record time (I'll try to debug sources to log, but before this I'll must find the recording Timer_tick main routine to log it to a file........).

The Pc time is ok (was the first thing that I have checked!) and:

I have two folders, one with MP of 23 june (that works) and one with lastest MP (2.0.0.0) that doesn't work.. So I can swap that folders for tests (with execution of start.bat everytimes).

If I stay on scheduled recordings screen I can see my scheduled rec. at 20:00 and the clock time at the same time. I have tried to wait "the time" in Homepage, in tv page, in full screen tv, in scheduled recs page and into stand by (in this last case pc resume correctly but doesn't start to record...).

For rtv: I can press record now, record correctly on all channels and play the file correctly, too!

Is possible that the problem regards GMT+1 time problems or time format? I use HH:mm:ss 24 Hours in my system and this works with 23 june release.
