Hi all,

I have a problem with the latest media portal release where the common interface of my satellite card (FloppyDTV) is not working. Every FTA channels works fine but the scrambled ones. This is very crucial cause neither the recordings work nor I have any idea on how to sort it out.

The solution is to exit mediaportal and open DVB Viewer which shows the channel correctly. Then everything works fine in mp (till the next hibernate).

I have looked at the logs (attached) but I cant see anything wrong. Due to this issue I missed a recording at 18:00 last night (27/5) but I can really see whats wrong.

Is there anyway to fix this issue? It really defeats the whole purpose of having a media center if you cant record things.

Thanks,
Yannis

Please run the FloppyDTV diagnostics program you get from DE's website after you return from hibernation. That seems like some firmware problem on FloppyDTV's side.

tontsa is asking you this because it looks like cam not reconnected by the time TVServer has started.

Also have you set a delay in tvserver before it detects cards after a resume.

i entered the delay today (30secs) and lets see what happens tomorrow.

I tried the floppydtv support tool but everything seemed normal. I cant see how it can be the firmware since it works great in dvbviewer (it does take a while to tune the first channel though)
