Dear all,

There is a little bug since at least one week in latest CVS. When using the screen calibration tool (to compensate overscan, set OSD pos and so). Once it has ran, no more picture is displayed in My TV and in My Video.

If i open the calibration_1024x768.xml file, i find strange values for pixelratio. If i enter manualy 1.1 in this file and restart mp, then it works. If i go bak to screen calibration in mp then the problem comes back.

I think that there is maybe a problem with coma and point in this value.

I am currently at work, thus, i can not post any error log. Let me know if it is needed, i will post them tonight.

Thanks for your great work.

I have dowloaded the 03-12-06 CVS, and the problem is still there.

When i go to screen calibration and choose 1.1 for pixel aspect ratio. The recorded value in calibrationxxxxxx.xml is 11. The result is an unviewable image in MyTV and My Video.

I haven't found any solution to store a 1.1 pixel aspect ratio.

Regards

    Hello Guys !!

Try to change aspect ration (by pressing "S") to stretch, and you will get a picture again.

Problem exists since CVS from 03.08.2006.

Are your TV logos displayed OK in programm Guide ? My logos are broke
Can you change the square in calibration settings ?

    Thanks, Tobi

    Editing calibrationxxx.xml using:
    <entry name="pixelratio">1</entry>
    will help you.

So it seems pixel ration correction is not working at this time.
The only accepted value for me is 1.

I tried this out with current cvs and it is working fine for me.
Pictures and video are corrected perfectly.

r pictures correctly compensated for you?
if so we should look @ the codecs perhaps ?

Could it be only mpeg2 gives you problems?

    Hi,
This is a lokalize problem for users that use , as a separator instead of . between numbers & decimals.
I hope this will be fixed soon.

ronilse and i found out it's when NO numeric seperator is set in the locale it will be a problem.
    a , or . is ok.

Norwegian locale is an example of this.

    good find there ronilse.....
