Screen ratios give black picture except for 'original ratio'

If I stop the video and then play it again i get the picture!</p><p></p><p>After some fiddling I noticed that I can change the ratio whilst I have the black screen, if I return the ratio to 'original' I get the picture, then scrolling through all the other ratios will give me a black screen untill I go back to 'original'.</p><p></p><p>Gotta be down to the GPU but I can't figure out what?
