Just because i can't remember the setting , does the screensaver in MP only kick in when its inactive on the menus? or if i had it set would it go into the screensaver if i was watching TV fullscreen or DVDS fullscreen, would you be able to have it only kick in on static screens like the menus?

okay thats sweet then i wasn't sure if it would do it on a movie, damn i want my new lcd tv so i can finally hook it up to a tv

I have never seen it come unless I was parked on the home or one of the sub-screens. But I haven't had the screensaver active in a long time as it confused the kids and they thought the tv was broken :lol:

Is there a way to start the screensaver with a button on the remote? I think I read about a working solution some time ago. After having started a playlist I just want the screensaver (aquarium in summertime, fireplace in winter) to be turned on at once.

I think it can be done with MyPrograms by selecting a .scr file to execute.

I have the screensaver disabled in Windows anyway and tell it to turn the monitor off 10 minutes after inactivity. However, the monitor still turns off while watching a DVD Surely it should have the same behaviour as the screensaver?
