Season banners show, episode thumbnails doesn't? (1 Viewer)

Hi

Im running the latest TVseries plugin together with Mediaportal V1.0 RC2. Everything used to work fine with banners and thumbnails but since last week the episode thumbnails dissapeared. Sometimes, like every other time they show in the configuration app but no longer in the plugin itself. They do exist in \ApplicationData\xx\yy\thumbs though. I've tried the options you can apply (alternative image logic (?) ) and so fourth but nothing changes the lost episode thumbnails.

Seems a bit wierd that the season banners work just fine. Anyone got an idea bout what I can do?

My condition stays through updates and redownloads and I cant think of any software/hardware changes that has been made since it all was fine.

You using the SVN or the one off the MP website?

I'm using latest SVN, usually if I exit TVseries in MP and go back in they come back. Issues are usually to be expected if your using SVN.

I have the same problem. None of my tvshows have a display pitcure anymore. It is just the name of the show, nothing else.

It startet some weeks ago after updating MP.

Any ide on how to fix this?

I have this issue too.

I am using RC3 with the latest release of TV series - NOT the svn, just latest stable release.

Any ideas?

Episode images are fine in the configuration dialog, but not in MP!

I should point out I am using the latest indigo (monochrome) skin.

i think i have the same problem. try exiting out of mediaportal then opening it up again. that fixes it for me, but its not really a good solution

Ive got the same problem too. Download thumbnails is selected and the thumbs show in the plugin config but not in RC3. Im not using any SVN and i am also using the Monochrome skin.

I have a similar problem, after installing rc4 i only have serie images, not anymore of season and episode though these do show up in the config of the plugin.

I had the same issue.
- I exported my watched flags
- deleted the TVSeriesDatabase4.db3
- created a new TVSeriesDatabase4.db3 file
- added folders again and scanned
- imported watched flags again.

maybe there is a better way but this worked for me. Hope it helps

I have this same problem too. Started with not showing episode thumbnails. So I decided to overwrite my stable release with the latest SVN.. No luck.

After that I went to the configuration and clicked "empty" database, and imported it all again. I figure I have 1200 episodes, only took a whopping 8 minutes. :s No images showing again... But I don't think it was even tried to download them, as time was so short.

So I went on to see details of all episodes in the configuration, all details where there. Also the location of the online image (at least I think that's what it is). But I couldn't see an image there either...

So I uninstalled RC4... which gave an error... so clicked uninstall again, this time succesful! Installed the whole thing again, imported series... no images at all, not even for the series... uninstall again (again had to do it twice).. Still no result!

And yes, I've clicked the box to tell the program to download the images/thumbnail things... Any solution to this? Help would be greatly appreciated. I read on the MP-TV Series google page that this issue has been posted a few times and at one point it said that the issue was fixed. But it seems that it is not? I'm not at home and can't find the link, but i'll post it here when I have it.

I will also try TranceManNZ his solution when I get back home. But I figure it won't help, as i did a full uninstall already...

missing episode thumbnails

I also have the problem with missing episode thumbnails.

However, after some experimentation, I've found that my problem *seems* to be related to online refresh. Example: if I have added files to my library and I refresh with the config tool, all my episode images seem to be ok but once I allow it to refresh again in MP, the episode thumbnails disappear.

The files still exist, but they no longer show in either MP or the config tool. It appears that the "thumbfilename" property is being cleared for ALL items in the database.

On a few occassions I can get the thumbnails to reappear by adding files to the library and resyncing again in the config tool, but this only lasts until my next online refresh.

I'm using SVN 3251, RC4, and Indigo 2.4 (but this also happened to me with the "stable" release and RC3)
