I know I'm probably going to be scorned for this, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to enable and change subtitles and audio streams in Media Portal, in both DVDs and standard AVIs, MPGs, etc. For example, I have a series of tv shows that have 3 diffrent languages and a couple of commentary tracks, and Media portal goes and plays them ALL simultaneously. DVDs will only play whatever track I chose in the title screen, but I'm sure there's some way to change it on the fly like regular DVD players can. I also can't get subtitles to turn on or off any other way than DVD menus. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,

    for multiple audio in AVI look into the FAQ

    You can switch subtitles with "L" / yellow-button and audio with "A" / green-button.

    With the MCE skin you can switch within the OSD.

    HTH, Flip.

    I'm assuming the colored buttons you are referring to are not ones that are on the Microsoft MCE remote. I tried those buttons and all it did was send me to My Music and My TV respectivley. I've also tried the keyboard shorcuts and those didn't work either.. I've got to be an idiot.

    Hi,

    difficult to say. What version of MP do you use? :)
    Did you try only AVIs or DVDs or both?
    What about the OSD of the MCE skin?

    The keys should work. The colored buttons are those of the Hauppauge remote. I am not at my HTPC so I cannot tell which buttons are mapped on the MCE. But you can find out yourself.
    Configure->Remote->MCE->Mapping.

    The mappings are almost identical. It's also the coloured buttons for MCE remote.
