Kind regards

The Server is really slow... it takes about 20 sec to generate the page... Can I disable some Channels?

Yes, you can disable some channels.

This is done through channel groups within MediaPortal.

First create a MediaPortal Group for the channels that you want to see in the interface.
Next, in the manager program, on the users page, set that group as the default group for your login. This way, only those channels will be displayed.

You can change groups any time using the group dropdown on the guide page.

Fixes for some of the navigation issues in the HTML pages

    Kev

    Hi Kev,

Wasn't sure if you saw my previous feature request regarding allow mutiple ip's and entire subnets for auto-login. My reason for this request is a LAN behind a firewall at home is trusted, since it's only your machines. When I'm at home, I'd prefer to be be auto-logged in, but when I'm coming from the internet, then use authentication.

The other request I have kind of goes in hand with the remote features. Basically, I don't have use for the Web Interface as a remote control per say, however it would be great to be able to control My Music without having to have my TV on. There's a few remote control programs out there, but none seem to be actively developed and seem to add problems. It'd be great to see this functionality in MPWebInterface. Basically, a way to navigate My Music without having the television on. Preferably MPWebInt on the TVserver machine talks to a choice of MP clients by ip or hostname, etc.

Thanks again for this great addon. This should be built into MediaPortal itself, it really makes MP so much more usable.

    New Version 0.4.0.15 Beta

Yes, I had forgotten this request... thanks for reminding me.

Now supported in this version. Add multiple IPs for user Auto Login with a comma separating - NO SPACES!.

You can also add a subnet by appending the number of bites in the subnet mask by adding a forward slash followed by the number of bytes in the network part of the address

For your LAN, this might be 192.168.1.0/24 etc.

You can also enter a partial address and only these numbers will be compared (as a string comparison). So if you enter 192.168.1.1 it will match with 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101 etc - but not 192.168.001.100 as it is a string comparison not bitwise comparison - use proper subnet notation as above for bitwise AND comparison.

So, to cover all possibilities on a LAN with address range 192.168.1.0 to 256 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0, you could use this string...

    192.168.1.0/24,127.0.0.1

    (again, note no spaces)
