    Big_Kev,

Thanks for fixing the channel filter bug in the Query Manager. I really like this feature, works quite well. Wish there was a way to identify first run shows only. My provider actually provides the data in the EPG stream now, but MP doesn't pick it up.
    Hi stoked,

What is the tag, I will see what I can do...

Well, MP doesn't actually pickup these tags, I just know they have the flags because my STB has it. I don't think you'll be able to do anything unfortunately. Thanks though!

If someone could let me know the C# to refresh EPG from the TV Card - or a link to some sample code - I will build it in.

I will look at detecting MediaPortal as well and see what I can do there...

Big_Kev - You may want to get onto IRC and ask your question again, I would think you may get a better response. On this thread I think there is too much background and your request for assistance will get lost.

    New Version 0.5.0.7 beta

    New Features
    • Ability to start/stop timeshifting on your TV cards. TV cards now appear on the TV Server page with a drop down box showing available channels (I have not yet gone to the level of only listing channels for individual cards - all channels are listed for all cards at present). If the card is already timeshifting or recording, the dropdown will show the current channel. If you select another channel, then the Web Interface will stop all activity on the card and start timeshifting the selected channel (if possible). I hope this will make streaming easier.

    Fixes
    • Added more of the graphics I left out for Remote Control.
    • Changed Playlist page so that controls are at the top of the page - not the bottom

Is this the begining of what wll eventually be a web interface where we can just click on a channel and watch it in the browser - anywhere in the world?

    If it is, :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

If not, it's still very good web interface. I like the new graphics after I updated to the newest version.
One question: The BKhelper program, is that only if you want to use the remote control features? Because I have no use for them, can I just not install the program?

To change channels, I use the web interface to cancel the current recording and then stop the DVB device in the TV server setting. Then I go back to the guide and pick another program that I want to watch and repeat the process. If it would be possible to just begin timeshifting a channel and then be able to stop timeshifting it would be less clunky.

This upgrade should help... please give some feedback.

    BKHelper has 2 main functions.
    1. It provides the interface for the Playlist Management pages - these allow you to monitor and play music through your HTPC without having to turn on the monitor - this is particularly useful if your monitor is a big LCD/Plasma TV, or as in my case, a projector.
    2. It processes commands from the "remote control" page - so you can use a PDA/iPhone as a remote, or another PC on the network.
If none of these apply, then you don't need it.

    Thanks Big_Kev,

I noticed an issue setting up the BkHelper. It defaults to TCP port 50120 whereas MPWebInt defaults to TCP port 50510. Maybe this might have caused issues for others.

Another thing, I have my default page set to "getkeyword" but the remote control and playlist menu items are not listed. I can't use Guide because it takes so long to load the guide. Also, when in the remotecontrol/playlist menus the getkeyword search menu items aren't listed either.

PS. Remote Control and Music stuff works awesome so far. I wish there was a way to automatically create playlists from album directories or something.

    Hi Big_Kev

    Great work :)

Volume +- and channel change +- doesn't work in remote control here.

Deleting in 'Recorded Programs' brings me back to 'Scheduled Programs'
    ... is still an issue

Can you create a channel group with just a few channels in it and use that as your default channel group for the guide? This should make it open much faster.
