sendMessage() to Windows Media Center? (2 Viewers)

I´m looking for a way to target an unfocused Windows Media Center.

Using WM_APP to send commands to for instance DScaler. But when I try to reach Windows Media Center, it just fails. Think I´ve read somehere that it has something to do with the fact that Windows Media Center is built of directX somehow..

Any clues why I can´t target WMC?
