Serie won't play, instead is set immediately to watched status (1 Viewer)

I got this problem for the first time since today and changed nothing. Latest TV Series Version installed.

Did some tests and found out that all files with stereo audio play fine and all files with AC3 and DTS got the behaviour as described above. So i think its a audio codec problem...

Okay, problem solved! =)
Make sure you disable AC3 and DTS in ffdshow audio decoder if you want to use AC3Filter. It suddenly changed in my system cause i did load a ffdshow registry file. Thought this only affects the ffdshow video decoder. But it didn't...

Hi there, got the same problem as you, only with me it's when the video contains DD 2.0 is doesn't play.

Any idea how to fix this?

What kind of Audio Decoder are you using? Make sure you don't use two at the same time. =)

MPEG / AC3 audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
LATM ACC audio decoder: Monogram AAC Decoder
DD+ audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
Audio renderer: Defeault DirectSound Device

Tried switching thins up, but no succes.

I did not install any other codecs. What i understood was that SAF was a complete package. Maybe i got it wrong? I could try installing AC3 Filter..

Nah.. don't install it yet. Better show the MediaPortal.log file after you had this effect.

Update
Just changed everything from FFDShow to MPC and it works now, so its something in FFDshow.

If i change MPEG / AC3 Audio decoder or AAC audio decoder to FFDshow, it stops working, any other works good.
