So I have the pilot episode for a series which never made it out into the wide world. The name of the series is "Rewind" and it was made in 2013. There is only one episode (episode 1, "Pilot").

So here is my problem: TVSeries has matched every other series I have except THAT ONE. No matter what I try it refuses to admit a series called "Rewind" exists. Even when I try manual matching. But it does exist:
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=258464&lid=7

So why is this one series not being recognised? Can't be because it's a single word - I have other single-word series being recognised (e.g. Grimm). Any ideas?

It is because some show is called "Stop << Rewind", and instead of using the ASCII character «, they used regular angular brackets also used by XML to define syntax with.

The result (due to bad coding and forgetting to encode XML chars) is: http://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Rewind

This then forces MP-TVSeries to abort.

Solution: Contact TheTVdB admins to either fix their code and properly encode XML chars - so that < becomes < - or edit the title of the show to use "Stop « Rewind" as a title.
