Server constantly freeze (1 Viewer)

I really hope someone can help here. I am close to simply give up. I have yet to se a stable system with MP.

My latest problem is that the HTPC freeze up, even when it's not in use. Only thing running is the TV Server. The screen shows the Windows desktop and everything look fine, but a closer look shows that the watch has stopped several hours ago!

Keyboard and mouse does not respond and the only thing to do is taking the power and reboot.

I am at work and can't access your logs from here, but I thought it might be worth mentioning that DVB EPG grabbing can sometimes cause instabilities. Have you tried disabling it and seeing if that helps?

I have not tried disabling DVB EPG. Was so happy I at last had it working!! Anyway, is it a better option to use WEB EPG?

Are you saying that this has fixed the problem?

If it is definitely the DVB EPG causing the problem, then it is likely to be due to part of the DVB EPG function not the entire function (so you should be able to keep using DVB EPG). For me, my system works if I deselect both the following options:

1) CRC check
2) grab when system is at idle

Try playing with the settings and see what works.

No, I haven't tried yet. Am on work too What I ment was that I also had issues making DVB EPG working. DVB EPG is working now and I am happy for that, but the freeze problem isn't solved.

I just think I remember I read somewhere that there is a WEB EPG plugin. Was asking if that is a better solution than the DVB EPG.

I tried to disable TV EPG while CPU is idle. This helped. At least there was no freeze during night and not again when I came home from work.
