I've recently moved from RC3 to RC4. Done a full fresh install - windows and all.

TV-Server seems to be ignoring my Recording Folder which is set to D:\TV. Instead it always saves recording shows to the default recordings folder (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\recordings).

My D:\TV folder does exist, plenty of disk space, etc. This scheme worked fine for me on RC3.

Logs attached. Then end of tv.log shows a manual recording starting, and be saved to c:. Settings.jpg shows the Server Cfg screen. I haven't attached Media Portal logs as assume this is a server issue. Please let me know if they are required.

    Thanks.

    Nick.

R:\ Timeshifting may be a problem.

Make it R:\Timeshifting folder and point to that, windows writing to the root of any drive may cause issues (reserved for system files)

According to the screenshot you have set the recording folder for the "radio webstream card". Remember to set the folder for all tuners as each tuner can have different recording folders :)

    Fixed - User Error

Thanks Seidelin. That was it. My TV card still had the default settings, pointing to C:.

I hadn't spotted this before as on the previous install the TV card ended up first in the list, so it was those settings I changed and its only the TV recording I use.

I do find this style UI a little un-obvious. You have to be looking, opening every control, in this case to find the TV card setings. The same is true of the paths and filenames tab. Aren't dependent controls that change based on another control usual grouped in a sub frame, or put in a list box with seperate edit controls?

    Anyway, all good, thanks.

    N.

Ps. Not sure whether to mark this as fixed, given it wasn't a bug. Over to you.
