ServerBlaster Plugin? (2 Viewers)

G'day, does the ServerBlaster Plugin built in to TV server work for any one?
I have the M$ MCE remote with two blasting ports on it and I am trying to blast my Austar (Atlas) Satellite STB, there is nothing the wiki about setting it up and from what I can search out on the forum I have set it up correctly but it totally fails to blast to the STB.
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I have two setups waiting for me to get this sorted out

I have never tried it myself. I am a happy IRSS blasting user.

Will see if I can get time on HTPC later to test.

Just tested it. Not working for me

- disabled TV3Blaster plugin from IRSS
- enabled ServerBlaster plugin
- set both ports to my TV Card
- restart TVService (IMPORTANT otherwise IRSS keeps on blasting)
- test via PREVIEW button in TVServer Config, Channels

Four lines of interest in the logs (which I cleaned before testing)

What's also strange for me is that in IRSS I must select my STB so that IRSS knows what commands to blast. This detail not available for ServerBlaster

I will try to report on internal forums as well. Maybe we are doing something wrong. Maybe it's a bug.

rekenaar thanks for testing it, looks like I'll have to muddle my way through IRSS, it doesn't have the my STB listed in it (Atlas) tho.

Are you using Vista? because IIRC ServerBlaster doesn't work in Vista and is one of the items on the list of things to fix for the next version of MP.

I'm confused by this plugin as well. Since there is no way to tell it what type of box you are using it with, how does it know which codes to send?

Its still listed under the bugs as 'new', so I don't think anyone has looked at it.
