Is it possible, that somehow the old dll was used at some point, even though the new one is registered? If so, I could try to remove the old psisdec.dll completely.

not easy to remove the old one as it's protected with WFP. to check tho, search for the dll in regedit and the location should NOT say c:\windows\system32\...

Removing it should be fine when you remove it from the driver cache too. However, I am having some other problems right now with the TV server. In the EPG grabbing menu the "all grouped" button seems to select random channels from the all channels group too (and therefore the tv server was grabbing EPG data from too much channels). I wanted to fix that by doing a clean reinstall of the tv server, however after doing that, epg grabbing didn't work at all, error.log filled up with many entries. Don't know what went wrong there. I will try a new install the day after tomorrow and then I can hopefully check if removing the old dll made any difference regarding this problem.

My advice is dont try and move/delete the old dll's. simply register them at a new location. To make things even easier, re-register them in a batch file and put shortcut into Startup folder so it does it every boot. Windowsupdates etc undoes the work sometimes. it caught me out once.

Well, you're right, removing the old psisdecd.dll was a bad idea. It's the reason why EPG grabbing doesn't work at all now (see attached log). After enabling the old psisdecd.dll again EPG grabbing works again. I made a clean reinstall of the TV Server, maybe it fixes the original problem. Can't tell right now since the TV server hasn't finished EPG grabbing yet.

Only reason I could think of is that you still have the old file registered, not the new one.

Maybe it is or was. But if so, wouldn't the tv server configuration give me the error message about that? And shouldn't there be some kind of error beforehand if the old dll file was gone, if it was in fact registered instead of the new one? Ah, well, dll-hell

And strangely enough I had no unexpected termination after the clean reinstall of the tv server and I didn't re-register the new PsisDecd.dll file.
