Hi;

When I used Windows Media Center, the program automatically started on the TV screen (I've got two, one is "emulated" with a vga conector and few resistors to manage remotely with RAdmin), but Mediaportal insists opening itself on my VGA emulated desktop. I would like to have MediaPortal running by default on the TV screen and the VGA desktop free to manage it remotely from another LAN computer.

Is it possible?

Regards.

    Hi :)

    If I understand correctly, you have multi-monitor system?
    Open MP Configuration. Under General, tick the Screenselector option and select the correct screen.

    Great, It works, but with a quite big problem: when I start MediaPortal, the taskbar dissapear. I can see only the Start button, and I cant use any program.

    Any way to solve this?

    Best Regards.

    When you are not in Full-screen then you can use programs parallel, otherwise not.

    Open it in full screen, there is a option to hide the task bar, deselect that. I have two monitors, Mepo opens on the second monitor and nothing is affected on the first monitor at all.

    Great, it worked disabling the option hide taskbar. The only problem now is that when I manage the HTPC throught Radmin in the primary VGA screen, sometimes the mouse does not do what I want, for example, I click on the start button, the start menu appears and suddenly it disappears. Same problem clicking in other icons or zones of a program.

    Is there any possibility to switch main monitor to idle mode in such situation?
