setting up hp external ir blaster with windows media center (1 Viewer)

i have a hp ir receiver and the ir blaster cord plugged in and it is correctly positioned on my stb, i was using older versions of irss and when i got to the part about going through the registry i didnt see certain folders that the tutorial that i used said should b there, i now have the latest version of irss, 1.5.0.62, which i heard doesnt require u to go into the registry, i used the ir file tool to learn my remote codes, but didnt see a folder called ir commands i believe, so i created one, the tutorial said i should create a file for each button the the program learned, and name them 0r-9r and selr,, for my ok/select button, and save them in this ir command folder, i know im close but am lost, what exactly do i do?
