Setuping up tv server (1 Viewer)

Hi all new here, i just installed tv server on vista all seems installed ok but when i click on tv server confihuration it takes about 30 secs to open after the icon has beendouble clicked... is this normal?
Also the media portal program is frezzeing alot and saying not reponding alot..

i have intel duo core 2 2.4ghz per proccessor
sapphire ati 2600 HD graphics card
2 gig ram

and its a fresh install of vista....

any help please..!

    providing log files with more information on what you are doing within MP will get a better response. I get a response of about 10-15 seconds for the TV server setup screen.

    its not crashing, it seems i can only create alog if it crashes and its not crashed yet,

    Aslo i have no epg for channels, and what does timeshifting mean?

    Log files are always created, but that program i think you are talking about can be manually run from the mediaportal folder if you like (to collect the log files) otherwise the logs are in you MP client folder and the server files are in documents and settings\all users, both in some sub folder of those places (I don't remember exactly). there is a view logs button in the server setup.

    Time-shifting is where you can pause live TV and therefor be recording and playing the same movie/program at the same time. Mediaportal (and as far as I know all time-shift capable software) will do this all th time (you are just delayed by 0 seconds until you pause it and then the time period is longer)
