Zip has eventlog export ".evtx" file and Server Logs. Not sure if this is the event file format you want. Tried WebEPG with MePo 1.9.0, no errors doing same test/files.

ManualControl > Refresh DVB EBG, did correct flush of TV Guide EPG Data

    Hello Ron

First, thanks for the report. :)
Unfortunately I can't open the evtx file and I can't see when the crash occurred in the server log.
So, can you please do 2 things:
    1. Try to find and post the SetupTV log files.
    2. Tell me what time the crash occurred.
    Thanks,
    mm

in the "native mp2 tv" mega thread there are 3-4 messages on SetupTV Log

None of this shows where/how to find the actual SetupTV log data. No idea where it goes. If I rename the "MediaPortal Setup TV" folder to "MediaPortal Setup TV_OLD". Then run SetupTV it creates a new folder but the log files are always empty.

I ran MePo2 WebEPG again at 6:47 PDT 01:47 GMT and get the same error. Attached zip file has the 3 event entries in xml, csv, txt versions and a copy of MePo2 server logs. Still no SetupTV log data.

As FreakyJ said in the first link, the Setup TV log files should be in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal Setup TV\log.
That would certainly be the case if you were running a standalone version of TV Server (as opposed to the MP2 Native TV plugin which you're actually running).

Since you're running Native TV, I personally can't be absolutely certain where you'll find any of the log data. MP2 redirects logging to different folders and files. I'm not in favour of this because I think it adds confusion, but other people have insisted this is what they want so this is what we have to live with.

    Coming back to Setup TV...
The log4net config file in the Native TV download seems to point to c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal Setup TV\log, but I don't know that MP2 is not applying some redirect on top of that. All I can say with any confidence is that the log entries are not in Server.log as breese suggested.

If the log files in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal Setup TV\log are really empty and there are no alternative log files in the MP2 Server log folder then it is possible that Setup TV is logging into a black hole. Somebody else who is actually running Native TV will need to assist you with this.

PS: Tag to @morpheus_xx . Please can you look into this.

the WebEPG1.zip has a copy of the "MediaPortal Setup TV_OLD" folder and log files. I renamed this, started MePo2 SetupTV, and get a new "MediaPortal Setup TV" folder with 2 more empty log files. I'm pretty sure SetupTV logs are written to a black hole.
