Several Imprter Problems - stopps and chrashes ... (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I was using moving pictures now for a long time without any bigger issues - but recently I have discovereed that it doesn't import new files to the database anymore. So in a last try I have removed the pathes which of course leads to loosing all recent information. When I now try to run the config tool and teh importer it vrashes after a short time - this is what I see in the log:

Also eben if I select ormdb "de" I get al kinds of languages - mostly english and need to rescan them manually for the german db info to get the german title and description ...?

Any Idea what to change to make it run smotthly again?

Can' beleive nobody is interested in a solution to this - I have meanwhile build a complete new HTPC with a Asus P3 Board, Windows 7 64bit, 8 GB RAM, AMD Card, Digital Devices SatReceiver and again - when starting to import MP dies with a Memory error ... Help Please! This is frustrating ...

What version of Moving Pictures are you running? And can you please attach complete log files?

I don't see any errors in your log you attached. Are you sure this log was produced while you reproduced the error?

Jep. Its strange as I get the Out of Memory Error immediatly and now its even not showing in the log ... need to play more with it tomorrow ...

So - here we go ... when it first produces the Memory Exeption you only get the warning from the OP - Screenshot attached. Same happens when running MP itself. When you choose to close you get absolute nothing in the log ...

But - when you continue it starts to give you errors ... see attached Logfiiles.

Update ...

During some problems with a new Graphiccard I needed to reinstall MP - and - what I have now see is that as long as you leave the settings for the importer default (Englsh) everything works fine - changing it to "Deutsch" is going to cause a crash after some searches as before ... so my "workaround is to do the scan in Englisch and switch afterwards to Deitsch - what only leaves some items to be send back to teh importer ... anyway .. it's a hack of work as you can't do it in bulk.
