Hello all. I'm new to media portal. Previously, I'm using Media Center under windows vista ultimate. I followed instructions from MediaPortal Install Guide - AVS Forum on how to setup media portal properly. Everything went fine. My questions are:
1. I don't have tv tuner, upon starting media portal, it always waits for tv config or something to respond, then after a while, it goes into media portal (I saw there is this tick box on config to wait for tv server to respond, but I can't uncheck it. How do I uncheck?)
2. I am using Logitech Harmony One with IR (usb) from previous generic cyberlink remote controller. My Remote is reponding to the directions on the d-pad of the remote. But the rest of the functions, such as my videos, and other soft links (on the touch screen) isn't working. Question is, what type of remote do I choose in config? Windows MCE? Do I need to do any mapping?
3. How do I get media portal to replace Media Center of Vista when I select "Watch movies" activity on my Logitech Harmony ONe?
