Share movie database... I can't find the thread. (1 Viewer)

Hello,

In the past I had found a tutorial on how to edit some xml files in mediaportal and basically share the movingpictures and mptvseries database on a remote server.

I did some searches but I can't find that thread anywhere, i'm hoping someone can help me locate it

I stumbled on this the other day when looking for a centralized database solution. Unfortunately the database corruption when multiple clients access the DB is a dealbreaker for me. I can't ensure that this wouldn't happen in my household.

I stumbled on follw.it and trakt.tv which should synchronize ur different databases's "watched" flag.

one is built in with Stremed MP while the other is built in with the new mptvseries and moving pictures. I'm testing both out to see how they pan out.
