I am looking to share my videos I have burned to my HTPC with the rest of the PC's in my house (I am running MP 1.2.2). It is getting tiring looking in which PC a DVD was left in and I figure I have most of them on my harddrive on my HTPC so why not go that way. I know that tv recordings can be shared with the tv client, but I do not use my HTPC for tv. Is there a way I can setup the other PC in the house to pull from the main server? Or is my only option to setup the drive as a share?

You can put the files on a share and add the share to the video folders list on each client.
