Message: <blockquote data-quote="jimz06" data-source="post: 371999" data-attributes="member: 53992"><p>Remarkable...I just stumbled across this thread because I was trying to figure out why my blu ray 24fps .m2ts rip of WALL-E with DTS (thru SPDIF) on a 60Hz display has a regular video speed up every few seconds!  When I played the same file on my regular workstation (which has an X-Fi sound card with DTS decoding and no SPDIF out) there were no stutters.  That had me scratching my head but it seems clear that Maedhros nailed it and 60hz+24fps+DTS+SPDIF is a witch's brew for video stutters.  H264 might have something to do with it because I don't recall Predator blu ray Mpeg2+DTS  having the same issue.  Anyway, I have an AC3 track on WALL-E so I'll give that a spin tonight to verify.  Since this thread died out just curious if anyone found a definitive fix?</p></blockquote><p></p>
