The 'Home' button should do this.

If you lack this button on your remote control and can not program it in, then you can use the alternative SMS-style input of '0' -> '2' to jump to the letter 'A' in your list (also works for any other letter).

Now you might have a few number movies, such as 2012, 9, etc, but those usually do not span multiple pages, so in a way you are then at the top as well.

    More information regarding Home key..

It's been coded in MovingPictures that Home button takes you to Home or NasicHome window (can't remember which one). I've patched this in MP-TVSeries and already submitted a patch to MovingPictures team long time ago (that patch also includes a "fix" for Home key) but it hasn't yet been merged into official build..

So, for now do as RoChess told you. In the future I hope we will also be able to use Home key to jump to the top (End key jumps to the bottom already)..

i also list my movies based on "date added" so Rochess solution cant be applied.

It would be awesome to make the green button take you to the top of the list. i have had this problem for a long time.

specially when moving down the list and moving pictures adds a new movie. the list gets recreated and you can end up anywhere in the list if you continue pressing down at this moment.

PLEASE include this option in moving pictures !!! thanks

Well I use the '0' -> first letter a lot when I'm trying to go back to a movie I only remember starting letter on. Otherwise I use SMS-style to directly go to it.

My wife however stays stuck to the Channel +/- keys which act like the PageUp and PageDown keys to quickly navigate the list on page basis. Holding down one of those buttons makes my system go to the far end of the list (no matter what sort order is used) extremly fast.

I just tested it on a small Genre category, that only holds 266 movies, which equals 30 pages of 9-movies per page (Blue3Wide). It takes me under 3 seconds to scroll from top to bottom holding down the remote control button, so about 100 movies per second. And this is without the new Core.dll that improves scrolling speed even more, and my HTPC system specs are not that special.

Once at the end of the list, I hear the rapid click sound of me still holding down the button, but the list won't go past the end point (or start point if you go up).

Another 'trick', is to use the 'End' key on your keyboard (or map a custom button on your remote control to do it) to directly jump to the end of your listing, and then press the down arrow key once to cycle through to the top of the list.

Any update on this? Before the final was released, the backspace key would return you to the beginning of the list. This no longer works with 1.1.0.
