the link 'See MP Core XML Files IDs'(pointing to http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/SkinArchitecture/window_id) is outdated. The correct link is MediaPortal1_Development/SkinArchitecture/window_id - MediaPortal Manual Documentation.
Same for Third Party IDs: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/SkinArchitecture/window_id_plugin should be MediaPortal1_Development/SkinArchitecture/window_id_plugin - MediaPortal Manual Documentation.

I'm tested on stable 1.0.2, but not worked for me...
Tested on 1.1.0.0 SVN, not worked for me too...
Clearing any old xml files, and dll file, still nothing happens.

I'm sad now...

After all, thanks MoPhat! We waiting for the next release!

Have you any messages in your mediaportal.log or error.log?
On my 2 systems worked as expected.

Mediaportal.log reports the plugin has been loaded, and show version number, and the error.log doesn't show any problem of shortcuter...

Have you entries in the plugin config?

Yes, indeed. First of all deleted shortcuter xml and old dll, copy the new one. Entered to config, updated keys, and checked extra keys. So the plugin is active, but won't do anything. This is a veeeery nasty plugin!

doesn't work on my system

I use alpha 1.1 on vista.
