Hi, this is a RC6 based compil, no change on source code, you can try it.

Or give me advice to use a other plugin that does the same thing?

Since you're asking for alternatives; KeyboardInputPlugin also allows you to define keyboard shortcuts to MediaPortal screens (and more). It supports Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Win modifier keys, and mappings are configured similar to MediaPortal's built-in remote control support. You may want to check it out if ShortCut'er doesn't work for you.

Kind regards,
Ruud

Hi, I have just started using mediaportal and I have used Shortcut'er to set up my video, my tv and my photos on my remote but the ID's listed for music do not take me to the top of the music section ie where 6 is for the route of video. Could somebody please tell me what the core xmls ID should be for this. Thanks

I have set the Music folder. I am not sure what you mean by set the hook. I can navigate to the music folder by clicking on the the music button in the same way that i can with video, tv and photos.

See attachment regarding the checkmark (hook is not correct here, sorry for this). When you set it you will get directly into that folder when you choose "My Music". When you don't set it you will get a list with those items and you'll have to choose manually.

Yes this is set

Sorry I have just tried going in through the music tab and now I get the directories as mentioned earlier. I will re-check that I have the directory set and have a play with the settings then get back to you. Thanks for your help so far

I have now lost the music button alltogether. Is there a way to get this back or will I have to re-install the mediaportal?
