hi!

it's going to be near perfect!

again some suggestions:

what about some thumbnails?
to use one global icon you can use a folder.jpg. something like this:
folder.jpg

in an advanced version it might be possible to define a thumbnail for every single playlist. the thumbnail must have the same name as the playlist and the extension .tbn. but it is not possible to use a folder.jpg together with a tbn file. of course the thumbnails has to reside on the user machine.

What version of mediaportal you running? It only works with 1.0.4.0 and up.
You need to place it in your mediaportal/plugins/windows/ directory. When you run configuration it should show. The setup would look like the pic above.

You have to configure the Playlist folder in the Stream Settings section under Radio in configuration.exe. Next you have to make sure that the files that are downloaded by this plugin end up in the same folder. If you have downloaded the stations then they are available in MyRadio.

    Update

I updated the plugin again, just re-download it from the links on the first page.
    Here is what I did:
Completely re-wrote the parsing routines. Should give about a 10-15% increase in speed. It should have no more errors as that fixed a nasty bug. Fixed issues with ordering bitrates higher than 128 and added more bitrates to select from. If a genre or search is not available and the output file is checked it will drop an error-genre.txt in your default directory so you know what happened.

Now that my parsing is clean I'm starting to work on getting this automated so that all you have to do is configure it and it will do the rest in the background. The current info files spit out for every genre will be consolidated into a single log file including error details.

Butcher: I looked into what you asked and I'll try to figure out a way to implement it. However I won't work on that until I get the above done. Thanks.

As requested I added bitrate maxlimit and sorting by bitrate.

Finally tested your plugin. works great!
But shouldn´t you add a min bitrate in order to receive minimum stream quality (rather than a maxlimit) ?

Other than that I had only some far reaching feature requests like recording and display of currently played title. But don´t rush things. I am quite happy with what I´ve got now.

Ok, this is going to be long so please bear with me.
I've updated the plugin to poll files and allow auto-download. As you can see in the above pics if auto-download is enabled when it is time to poll, it will create a popup dialog asking whether you would like to download now or not. If no it will ask again on the next poll schedule indicated in the dialog. Since creating the queue takes some time and usually slows down the machine as it parses the html for files, I have created a progress dialog to handle that so that there is no frustration and wonder to why the slowdown occured. If this is annoying, you can still do it manually in the configuration and disable autopoll by setting the day count to 0. Once the queue is created it'll attempt to download files immediately and if not will try to resume every so often as set in the setup. This is the easy part and there is no dialogs for that and no slow down. You can also resume in the setup but it is not automatic and you have to manually hit the available button when desired. There is also a button for clearing the queue once one is created. Note that these two options are available only after a queue is created.
This plugin requires you to place it in the /plugins/process folder. If you have a previous version in /plugins/windows folder you need to remove it or else it will prompt you when you try configure it and will exit. Previous configuration settings won't work with this new one and will be reset to default.
This will hopefully be all I'll do for this plugin, as I am eager to start work on a yahoo launch plugin. If some issues or nasty bugs arise, I'll promptly fix them and post any updates.
Enjoy and please let me know if you have any issues with it.

I found some issues with the timer routines, I'm fixing them now. You can still use the menu to download all your lists but I would disable the automation until I get that fixed. Sorry. :?

Fixed! Use the top link, the automation works like a charm. :)

I added one more fix. Updated to 2.1 so your previous config will be erased. Apparently on resume it was deleting and recreating the directories. So if you queued 100 stations and it didn't complete, you would lose those on the next download run.
Get it from the link on the above post.
