All of my Beavis and Butt-head rips are the full 1/2 hour (22 mins) format.

However due to the format of the show some 1/2 hour episodes have two 11 mins episodes and the scraper wants each of these to be different files.

So for example, episode 09E01 is Wolves of Highland / Crying and 09E02 is Daughter's Hand / Tech Support

However in MP-TV it comes up as

S09E01 Wolves of Highland
S09E02 Crying

So all of my episode titles are incorrectly listed.

What's the easiest fix for this kind of problem?

    You can use:

    Beavis and Butt-Head S09E01 + S09E02.avi
    Beavis and Butt-Head S09E01+E02.avi
    Beavis and Butt-Head #9.01+02.avi
    Beavis and Butt-Head 9x01-02.avi

and many more combinations to fit. This will make MP-TVSeries add both entries, but know it is the same file, if you watch it then at 50% it will mark S09E01 as watched and at 100% (or your watched setting) it will mark S09E02 as watched.

The only side effect is that when you start S09E02 via MP-TVSeries that the double-episoder file will play so no matter what it will start with S09E01. You can however use MKV container and use chapters and then skip to 2nd chapter to immediatly jump to S09E02. But in normal usage you will watch S09E01 before S09E02, so it will just have a natural flow to it and you won't even notice.

Ok, so on the reverse of this, what about this scenario. The TVDB shows a episode as 1 listing however on the dvd its split over 2 episodes (end of Lost season 1). The TVDB shows it as 24 episodes but the dvd has it with 25 episodes. If I rip each one seperately, how do I tell TV Series to link 24 & 25 together as one episode??

I had the same problem with an episode and nobody really had a good response except for it can't be done.

You can join the 2 episodes into one with mkvmerge but besides joining them I don't think it can be done.

anyone know how to manually set a file as 2 episodes after it's already been added? the regex's i have don't support 2 episodes and i don't want to have to deal with re-doing them all for the few i want to manually adjust.

I believe if you do like S09E01-Part1 and S09E01-Part2 or something like that, it will play both. Or maybe that's just movies, not sure. VirtualDub (Direct Stream Copy) will combine two 700ish meg AVI's in like 3-4 minutes on my older laptop, so joining two files from the dvdrip shouldn't be that hard.....

I meant manually in mediaportal config gui after it's already been added as only 1 episode.

If you added "Example S01E01.avi" and it got added as 1x01 inside MP-TVSeries and you realize later it was supposed to be "Example S01E01+02.avi" then just rename the file and re-run import, MP-TVSeries will auto-correct it. I've done that myself a few times and never a problem.
