I could take the data from Bioguiden and trailers from SF. Obviously this will only work if the titles of the films are equal.

    What do you say?

    Bye,
    Nephilim

    Hi Nephilim!

First of all a big :D for the time you spend on this great plugin!

Title should be equal i think, so sure its sounds great.

But, SF also have some data on their site, maybe it works to run both data and trailers from SF or?
Here is an example >> Om Wallander - Hämnden på SF Bio.

SF seems to have less cities than Bioguiden (111 instead of 48)...
    Tell me what you prefer.

    Bye,
    Nephilim

Great idea to use bioguiden as data source because it covers much more cities (including were I live) and use sf for trailers.

    Amen! ;)
The next version will have: full support for Sweden, a beta working version for Spain (without trailers in spanish for now, sorry) and a new source for France (with trailers in french)...

Do i need to add the FLV splitter to watch FLV files?
How could i register this file in mediaportal?

Is it possible to watch FLV via the videolan plugin?

    Please help :)
I could not view my flv trailers :-(

I have FLVSplitter.ax registered, but i get only a blank screen without audio.
I have tried to install the videolan external plugin and have checked the .flv extension in the plugin.
Same result a blank screen and no audio...

Viewing with the videolan program without the MP the flv files plays correct.
With windows media player i get an error.

You need also the FLV1 codec, I suppose. Try installing ffdshow or, if you already use it, to enable the FLV1 in the codecs section ;)

I do not use the ffdshow!

With the videolan extern plugin the flv files should play without any codec or something else i think.
The VLC itselfs does play the flv files without splitter and so on...

I dont want to install many codecs and tools for 1 extension (.flv).
    All other formats play well.

What do i exactly need to play .flv files in mediaportal?

    1) FLV Splitter --> FLVSplitter.ax
    2) ?
    3) ?
    4) ?
    5) ..

You're right, VLC it's enough; but I cannot help in configuring the videolan external plugin..

Well, excluding VLC, you need for first FLV Splitter (FLVSplitter.ax); the splitter splits the audio portion and video portion of the .FLV file; then the video part needs to be processed by the right codec (the audio part too, of course).

    .FLV files could contain:

    H.263, H.264, MPEG-4, VP6, FLV1

Video formats. The last, FLV1, is contained in ffdshow. I don't know any other codec that could handle this format :(

Try using graphedit or GSpot to see which is the real video format used inside the .FLV files you're trying to play, and then go for the codec / codec pack you prefer...

    Hi Chrisonline,

Why you don't use the SAF codecs from Hoborg?
More details on the forum (here in MP) dedicated to codecs.
You can read absolutly everything (FLV of course) and it is extremely light, you don't need FFdshow.

I am using it and I have no problem at all with FLV files.
