Hi Nephilim,

Installed the May 27th version of your plugin and the only thing that does not appear to be working is the playing of the trailiers. The Trailiers are downloaded in .MOV format, Quicktime Pro v7.45 is installed and the trailers play in Quicktime OK but not in MP.

When you select PLAY TRAILIER the screen flickers briefly but nothing happens. I use the Blue3Wide Retro sking but have tried in the standard Blue3Wide with the same result.

Any thoughts on where I should be looking for a cause?

Thanks in advance...

First try if the .mov files are played in Windows Media Player (probably not).
For Quicktime files i use the mp4splitter (+ffdshow+coreavc) from the MPC-HC project, it works well.

Anyway take a look at this thread.

Bye,
Nephilim

Many thanks for the direction.:D

Found the MediaLooks QuickTime Plugin and all works beautifully.
MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - MediaLooks QuickTime Plugin

Thanks Again...:D

Please post your location.xml and mtsa.log files.
Anyway the maximum number of downloadable days for UK (and USA and Canada) is 4 (today+3)

:D
A little question: why don't you use backdrops in filmstrip view?

Bye,
Nephilim
Thanks for the relpy. I set the max days to 4 and it works properly now.

Where does the mtsa scrape the info for the UK? Just out of curiosity :)

with this new version i have just re-done the config, and i cannot find the right cinemas. (i re-did the config because it said 'not all information can be gathered by one or more cinemas' or something like that)

but now, i'm searching 'lancaster' within the UK and only one cinema comes up, it used to come up with about 5+

any idea what is going on?

    lol

haha yeah must be the reason! haha..

nah but good job with this plugin! love all the updates that we get. nice to see its still being worked on!

one thing though, when i open mediaportal with MTSA being run on the start of it, for some reason it starts using 50% of my CPU, which often makes any other video in mediaportal start being jerky or laggy.. any idea why it seems to use such a large CPU? because i know it didn't used to. its only started doing it recently, like the last 2 weeks or something..

    thanks!
