:sorry: I didnt see it :oops:

Thanks a lot!

---------------------------------
I made a change in \MediaPortal\language\Showtimes\strings_de.xml from
Code:
<String id="8">Update Anfangszeiten</String>
to:
Code:
<String id="8"></String>
So that the bug in the attached picture disappears.

Now its perfect! :D

Hi everybody!

First of all a big TY for this plugin which is really great!

I have, however, this bug bugging me.

When I do a manual download or if Showtimes refreshes in MP itself, everything searches and downloads fine (I checked the log), but when it wants to store the actual showtimes/info away, it fails and crashes to desktop. This happens in manual and in automatic.

Funny thing is that times/info are saved anyway.

I checked the showtimes log, no apparent error:
Mediaportal.log and error.log shows "Index was outside the bounds of the array." error

Here are my logs, i hope they'll help.

I tried with minimum info (no trailers/posters/info and a very small theatre for 1 day) and with max info (everything high for 7 days on 5 theatres).
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but more often it fails than it works.

Thanks for your help!

Hi

Here it is.

I think this xml seems ok. Movie information for 7 days and 5 theatres present.
It is from the last successful manual download i tried.

thank you for looking into this!

Maybe a little update:

If I run Showtimes directly from MTSA.exe, there is no bug.
It must be a MP/MPconfig related bug.

awesome plugin!!

I do have a problem with some trailers though... while most trailers run fine without any issues, some of them give me the following error in a pop-up screen:

Unable to play: ‘movie title’

VIDEO CODEC: H264
AUDIO CODEC: AAC

I have installed QuickTime Alternative on my PC, so Windows Media Player can play *.mov files also. The movies that give a error in Mediaportal also won’t play in WMP. So I assume it might be a codec problem?

Anyone got a clue how to fix this?

Not sure if this is the problem, but are you able to play other h264 files? if not, you may need an h264 codec. you can check in MP config if you are able to select a codec for h264 files (and for aac audio, but you should be able to play that). I think under the video setting in MP config, you can choose a h264 codec. If this is blank and has no selectable options, this is your problem and you'd have to install a h264 codec.

Hope this helps, though not sure it will.

Also sorry to report that I still can't get this to work currently (see my post here). Crashes MP everytime I enter it, but downloads ok in config.
