Hey great Plugin,
but doesn't work for me :(. There seems to be a problem with the german grabber in general. Can't find any theater not even in Berlin!

Please, try the one in attach.

Bye,
Nephilim

Hi Nephilim and all,

Can you guys help me out?
I have mediaportal throwing errors at me, it shows a dialog, MP does not crash. Showtimes pops up in error.log so I think it has to do with this plugin (see files attached).

Any help would be awesome, love this plugin.

---------------

Edit: After thinking about it might be the skinfile I'm using atm. Gonna try another file, will report back.

-----------------

Tried another skinfile no luck yet.

Joz:

That is the same error I was getting, and getting it with multiple skin files. The problem is that the skin is trying to call #st_theater, #st_showtimes, and #st_moviedate, which are only filled when you select a movie, theater and date. If you find the control for these in the skin file and make the visible remark to be (either add this one or if it exists, change it):

for variable #st_theater: <visible>Control.HasText(46)</visible>
for variable #st_moviedate, and #st_showtimes: <visible>control.isvisible(24)+control.hastext(46)</visible>

This should stop it from erroring out (at least it did for me).

Alternatively, if you're using a widescreen skin, you could copy the file from blue3wide to the skin directory of your choice (may or may not work). Someone posted a xml for the Bleazle skin here that was based off the blue3wide with just mild text size changes also. I also posted one for black&white1080, but that is probably unique to that skin and not interchangable.

Just out of curiosity, what skin are you using?

Hope that helps,

Michael

Thanks for the respons mdg78,

#st_moviedate, and #st_showtimes are not defined in my skinfile, #st_theater is but had visible set to no.
I use StreamedMP as a skin on this machine.

Hmmm... That's interesting, because the error message is it is trying to call a one of those 3 variables but unable to because they are not defined until you select a theater and date for a movie. When this happened to me, I would navigate to Showtimes, then see the page open, but when I went to move the cursor any way, it would crash. I had the same error message as you returned to me.

I just reviewed my old log and got *exactly* the same error message, and it went away when I set the visible modifier as above. I used StreamedMP prior to upgrading from MP 1.0, but I have come to prefer B&W skin (though it took a lot of tinkering), so I don't have a working xml for it.

Also, look for a place that may say #theater, I had a previous skin that tried to call that and crapped out on me.

Good Luck
Michael

I think my issue has to do with me locally. Could it be that MTSA is choking on some special characters such as é or I've seen this in moviedata.xml "&" (an html & sign)
Any help would be really appreciated! I'm thinking this because the issue is spreading from machine to machine (after they have done their updates) which were working fine before.

If you need me to provide anymore logs or testing, I would be happy too.
