I think that error has more to do with this mantis, that I already fixed.

But still, invoking of dialogs is a must. Well, not just dialogs but anything MediaPortal GUI related, other than setting properties. I think that's the only thing that's thread safe

Sorry if mentioned before, but I searched the forum and cant find a post about what I experience with this potentially very nice plugin!

When I installed the plugin, I go in media portal configuration to activate the plugin, go into configuration and then the folder for MTSA is set correctly (other bigger harddrive, not the small Operating System drive, MTSA.exe is copied in the correct folder) but when I get to setting the country and selecting theatres it goes wrong..

I cant select a country, because the list is simply empty, so also the list witht theatres remains empty.. and then I cant finish the setup procedure properly because I havent selected a theatre.. So I cancel the configuration.

Then when I open Mediaportal, after 10-20 minutes, I get the message MTSA is crashed, because some XML files are missing (sorry, files names I cant recall at the moment, will pay attention when ity happens again, and let you know here).

So what goes wrong here? Am I missing something?

I am running Media Portal 1.1.2 without any SVN or something. or other system specs see list on the left..

All I want are Movie Fanart backdrops when I scroll through the movie files, just like I have now with Music fanart using the Fanart plugin. If someone knows of a (lighter, simpler) way to get those, please let me know.

You'll need to remove the plugin completely and reinstall it - remove from the 'process' AND 'window' folder under plugins
Reinstall and you should be ok
On the missing countries thing - open the config - setup the location of the MTSA and posters etc. but NOT the country location bit - close the setup app and the reopen it - you should magically get the countries appearing

Thank you so much for this fantastic functionality! +1 to the dev(s).

I have a feature request if interested. It would be great to be able to filter by 'today'. That is, filter the list of movies to just the ones being screened for the current day.
