Please tell me the version you read when the console window appear.
It works for me, version 5.1.19.

Sorry, too late. Have deleted all files and reinstalled showtimes.
Now it works perfekt.

It was the 5.1.18 version that was bad...
5.1.19 works again

Hi,

First I would like to thank you for an amazing plugin! I've set it up on 1.2 beta and at first your plugin worked like a charm. However, now when I try to update 6 out of 7 cinemas seem to update fine but one won't update.
4 of them is in Poland, 3 is in Sweden.
That's a minor issue for me since the real issue is the MTSA.exe that keeps crashing in the background when i run Mediaportal.
Even when i enter the configuration for the grabber, the mtsa.exe crashes. Yet, the configuration actually works.

I've uninstalled the plugin via MP extension installer. That didn't do anything. Instead, I've deleted all the files (posters, configurations etc. that are saved by ShowTimes) and then reinstalled ShowTimes 3.2.1. It started downloading and it all seem fine until MTSA.exe crashed again. I had a quick look in the mtsa.log and it was the latest version: 5.1.19. I was unable to find any other errors in the log.

I'm currently at work so I'm unable to post the log right now but I'll be happy to post it as soon as i get back home.

Also, I'm on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, using Mediaportal 1.2 Beta with the "Backdrop 1.0" skin.

I want to second this.. I have also the problem that MTSA is crashing just seconds after I have started Mediaportal, a windows PopUp error message comes up to tell me (so NOT a mediaportal popup!). This is happening since about two weeks ago. I was planning to investigate, but outdoor activities make's that mediaportal does not have the highest priority at the moment As long as I can watch NCIS on monday, and the 8 o'clock news.. I am good

Ok, in mediaportal configuration.. when rightclick on the showtimes grabber--> windows popup that program MTSA has crashed, click Close Program in the popup-->popup closes, and the Grabber Config panel shows and seems to work OK.. So I can check my settings:

Country: EMPTY City: HEERHUGOWAARD (which is actually in The Netherlands)

List of theatres shows indeed theatres in my neigbourhood

I have not attempted to update, as I like it how it is right now, and do not want to mess it up by trying to update everything.

The cities I've used are:

Karlskrona, Sweden
Varberg, Sweden
Szczecin, Poland

I've set the country to "English"since I've seen, somewhere in this thread, this as a good option that resolves some issues.

I have included the mtsa log.

Is it possible to have the grabber working in silent mode? When i start MP and for instance start My TV, then a command line window appears as it is grabbing, and it's pretty annoying...

Hi, this only happens when grabber (mtsa.exe) updates to new version.

Grabber updates are known to cause few other bugs in GUI but bit hard to fix. Nephilim said he will eventually take a look but it's not high priority.
