MediaPortal Version: 1.1.0.0
MediaPortal Skin: xfactor
Windows Version: vista 32bit

i have a strange thing .

i installed vista and put mediaportal on it .
configured it and works nice .
only thing is that when i choose shutdown from media portal with the remote it starts shutting down and eventualy ends up in a bsod.
when i exit mediaportal and shut down the normal way (start shutdown etc) it works withotu problem and i get no bsod.
so it looks like the problem is from within media portal .

when i analyze the bsod with a program it says this was likely cuased by the module usbcir.sys.

how can i fix this ??

greets
:D

Sounds like a bug in the IR remote control driver. MP most likely triggers it since it will be having handles open to the driver when shutdown happens.
