Enable the MCE remote in MP Configuration & The extended logging & start MediaPortal, try some buttons, close MediaPortal & attach mediaportal.log.

Do above, Use MPTestTool (found in start menu) to collect logs only.

I opened the logfile in notepad but could not make anything of it. I will try the testtool and report the log here.
