I dip in every so often but have no real plans to do much with the skins anymore. I'm pretty happy to hand over any .PSD files et if anyone wants them.

Perhaps you can UL them somewhere (or better yet; change your mind )

Maybe someone can help Glenn with Simplify if he dont have the time?
At least have a small look at it. Every time I start MP i get a warning about it is being and old version.
I dont think there is very much work which has to be done... just have a small look at it if something needs to be done if some animations etc has been changed and change the version number. Nothing needs to be done graphically I think.. I love it the way it is... Simple and pretty.
I'd really like to see glenn work at it but since he has a lot to do I dont want to nag him about it.

Glith, this is what I saw a while back in the Core thread: "...change the entry in the references.xml file in the core skin folder for 0.2.2.x to 0.2.3.0." It should work here as well.
BTW, Glenn, what are you using now for a front end? I just switched from Vista MCE (after 4 years with MCE.) You didn't go to the dark side, did you?

Yeah, I did. I had some stuff (vista) given to me for a birthday and built a new box from scratch.
I'll see what I can do to get simplify running. My dilemma is that I'm more of an artist than a programmer. I'm not a very logical thinker and some of the small errors/bugs throw me.

Just goes to show we need a skin editor - big time! Hopefully the work that dukus is currently performing on the skin editor will make it usable for skinners! Look at ::this thread:: to learn more!
