I have had this for a while now, it just won't find and show season 20 of The Simpsons, it does so with every other show and every other series except season 20 of the simpons. The names are the same as all my series, "The Simpsons - 20x01.mkv" but it just won't recognize them. Any solution?

1) try creating the simple parsing expression: <series> - <season>x<episode>.<ext>
2) Check codecs used in season 20.
3) manually import episodes.
1) Got this allready, doesn't make a difference.
2) Codecs are fine, they play perfectly when manually added.
3) Yes doing this now but that is just a temporary sollution.

What version of the DLL are you running?
I noticed this same problem with Season 20 of the Simpsons, but it went away when I installed the latest build of TV Series...

i had the same problem, running V 2.1.3321

Season 20 just wouldn't show, despite the same codec and naming convention as season 19:

The Simpsons 19x01.avi

i don't know if upgrading to a new version solves the problem, but i found out one solution by accident: the files need to be named like this

The Simpsons s20e01.avi

the 's' and 'e' made the difference. i have no idea why this is suddenly necessary and only with season 20 of the simpsons, but the episodes now show.

Hmmm...actually I have been trying to get this to run for awhile myself. Tried your s20e01 method and it did not work for me.
I put the HTPC project on hold for a few months and now that I have a newer version of MP installed your original naming scheme works.... I usually use 2001 - title but changed to 20x01 - title and it is working fine.

Have you tried looking at the regex ???

i dunno for sure but maybe the regex only looks at 0x and 1x seasons and not 2x seasons

i have the same problem. Adding them manually worked ok for one time but after this some episode became orange in the selection and dont play.

wouldn't know what the hell I was looking at if I did :D
Got it working though so I am happy there. Odd how certain things work for some people and not others....
