Since Hardware ACC seems to be broken, how do I setup Zoomplayer? (1 Viewer)

So, I can't get hardware acceleration to work at all (as well as a dozen other people that have posted about the issue) but it seams they can get it working using an external player? I've installed Zoomplayer but can not figure out how to get it to recognize my codecs. Anyone know of a setup guide for zoomplayer?

Yes, I use Zplayer as an external. But due to the fact that 50% of all mkv vids I own are not compatible encoded to dxva2 I switched to CoreAVC as my H.264 Codec. Has also it´s issues but in combination with zplayer the best solution at these days for me. Also turn Aero off as it forces your screen into sync with EVR. That causes stutter.

Check zplayers help files for decoder config. keywords: Smart Play, Video and Audio options in zplayer´s expert menue...

I've used every player and decoder out there and none will enable Hardware acceleration. I get choppiness throughout HD movies unless they we rendered in a low resolution (and then what's the point?) No matter what codec I try it always tells me "DXVA not in use" in MPC, I can't find the damned menu in zoom player, and god only knows what the heck media portal is doing. Half the configs I try in MP I just get a bunch of green blocks. Hasn't anyone standardized this stuff yet? I'm about to give up.
