MediaPortal Skin:

how do you have media portal not prompt you for the error of using a skin that "appears" older. i'm using the skin that was release feb. 25th, but media portal prompts and tells me the skin is incompatible or older than for media portal 2.2 version. so essentially, i don't want to always click "try it out and ignore." thanks in advance.

Edit the "references.xml" file of the skin thats it complaining about. Change the version to number to "0.2.2.1"...that should solve it for you.
