I use Adobe Dreamweaver to edit the xml files but Notepad will also do. After editing the xml's, make sure to have the great <a href="https://www.team-mediaportal.com/files/Download/Plugins/Utilities/MyRefreshforBuild13639andhigher/" target="_blank">refresh plugin</a> installed and press F5 directly in MediaPortal to refresh the current page.
