'Skip' Home Menu, Make TV Default? (1 Viewer)

Hey, i was wondering if i could make MP ignore or skip home menu completely, that is, is it possible to make TV plugin default.. So when MP starts it goes directly into TV..

Thing is, i use MP just to watch and record LiveTV, browse EPG and such.. So i just have one item in home menu (TV)..

Autostart (fixed) should do what you want.

Sorry for not directly answering your question.
Maybe there is a setting that can help you a little bit. In MP Configuration utility, under General settings.
I am not able to test right now, but maybe it will make it better for you?

MediaPortal will automatically show the last module, or screen, that was in use prior to the computer going into standby mode.

autostart is just what i want! thank you for quick help

question: i press esc in tv menu and it goes back to main. is it possible to disable esc on tv menu so it never goes back to main?

You can probably remap the key so that it always stays within the TV section, have a look at the key mapping section in MPs config, sorry it's not a complete answer, but I can't remember the exact details and I don't have MP in front of me right now.

i have added new window section in key map.. Window action i set to "1" which is equivalent to My TV as far as i saw looking at some source files...

then i have added new action in that window:
Action = ACTION_INVALID (0)
key = ESC

but the ESC is still mapped to Previous_Window action (i guess from General section of key map). still this seemed like logical solution, i wonder why it won't work...

just to let you know i managed to to do that thing above but using KeyboardInputPlugin.. all good now.. so far so good
