Sky EPG Grabber advice (1 Viewer)

Hello,

For the past year or so, I have been using Miroslav's Sky Enhancement to allow me to skim the EPG off the Sky background music channel.

However, I have just noted that DJBlu has released something similar:

I would really grateful to know whether these two updates are the same thing or if not, what the difference is between them.

I use the first one you mention and it's a pretty simple mod which basically grabs the "Freesat Info" channel for you and also records series information. If it wasn't for the series info then there wouldn't be much advantage of the Sky UT/IT/AUS package over just ticking Freesat Info yourself as far as I know - but the series info is useful.

I've only looked briefly at the second one but it looks far more complex and flexible, and appears to actually reorganise your guide into categories much like the Sky Guide is.

I'm quite happy with the former
