I have all my DVB-T channels checked, plus DVB-S as instructed. Missing channels I checked the individual channels, which seemed to kick start them, then returned to just the two.

I also have grab while timeshifting & idle checked, fill holes but havn't tried update. Running FloppyDTV-S2 (NOT GRABBING) & Black Gold 6in1 which is doing the grab both DVB-T & S.

Good isn't it.

Yes, I'm really impressed! One other question. What settings do people use for the epg timeout and grab schedule (I think I saw something about setting it to 24 hours...).

Quick question, just looking at my listings and notice I only seem to have genre data for channel 'five' - is this expected?

have not looked through the whole thread but does the sky feed contain series/episode numbers, genre etc but not being parsed yet or not contain the info at all?

All working fine so no problems just interested....

todo: Categories. Not difficult so shouldn't be more than a few days/weeks away.

Categories = genres.

The Genre's you are seeing must be coming from Freesat or MHEG EPG as I haven't included the code yet. Thanks for the reminder though. I had forgotten.

I am new to MP and come over from DVBViewer, I have set everyhting up and must say this product is very good.

However I have installed this patched version to RC4 and I still have not got any EPG, and some of the comments have confused me a little.

On the TV Server do I only check the following channels to receive EPG (store data only from selected channels)

UK Sky EPG - Radio Channels -> EPG Background Audio
UK FreeSat - TV Channels->Britshorts (also need to tick if want sky with ITV HD listings)

Do I also need to check the channels I have in my Freesat group as well or will this be populated by these two channels?

Any advise would be great at I just keep seeing no data avalible and it is driving me insane!!!!

I have all the options ticked under the general settings and EPG tab

Deselect this option "store data only from selected channels" in TVServer configuration and it should work.

I have tried this with still no joy any other ideas, I can watch channels fine but just no EPG

Oh and the manual control states grabbing EPG so it is trying to do something but just will not populate the EPG

Thats because it takes 1 hour the first time. You need to be patient. Further updates take 10 minutes as it only grabs 1 days worth.
