You can try it with 1.0.2 but make sure you back everything up before incase it doesn't work properly. The only change I can see is the removal of the CI function.

So does the removal of the CI mean that CAM's, and therefore encrypted channels no longer work, ie. Sky Sports etc.?

removing unused files and interfaces (c++ side)

They are the changes, I haven't really looked to much into it but I know in 1.1.0 there is a CI Menu so I think the modifications were for that.

Hi DJBlu,
Once again, great work on this. I am currently testing this on a 1.0.2 installation and find that your new TSWriter.ax seems to cause a failure to scan for DVB-T channels, on replacing your previous TSWriter.ax channel scan proceeds OK.

thanks
Sim

I think you guys will love what I have done with the TSWriter!

I have sorted the PAT lookup :D

If a channels PMT is 0 or timesout then the TSWriter will lookup the new PMT pid so the channel still tunes :D

I will be working on this for the next couple of hours and will hopefully upload something later on.

Oh yes I am an effin genius!!!! :D

Just got to implement the quick search! and we will be all set for a new TSWriter and TVLibrary.dll.

Example from TV.log :D

PRoblem with TV Guide info on DVB-S

Hi, I've been trying to get this EPG grabber for DVB-S working for a few days now and rached an impasse.

I was mistakenly using hte Jan version in post 1 and only getting about a days TV guide in my EPG so I switched to the newest version you have listed. I followed your setup guide and selected BritShorts to get the full EPG from for Freesat but after leaving it running all nigh I have no EPG data for any channels at all.

I've now set the EPG grabber to get it for all my channels but it only gets guide data for most of the day (not even a full day) and a lot of the TV programs have titles but don't have descriptions.

I feel like I am missing something here! Help!

I'm using the latest version of MediaPortal and TV Server (not Alpha) on a Vista 32 PC.

Thanks for the help guys. :D

    Hi,

I haven't read this thread, but your post above sounds interesting, because there are some threads that report issues with "No PMT"-errors.

Can you provide a patch file?

    :D

No, CI features were not removed at all, they got quite extended :)

Only the TT and KNC classes where removed from TsWriter, as they are now native implemented in C# side....
